Tara Slaughter is the Co-Founder and Owner of CFS Medical Supplies & Equipment and
CFS Solutions DBS, organizations dedicated to improving patient safety, accessibility,
caregiver support, and quality of life through durable medical equipment, healthcare
consulting, and educational services.
Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and is a Certified Durable Medical Equipment Specialist (CDME) and California HDMR Exemptee.
She brings extensive hands on experience supporting seniors, caregivers, healthcare providers, assisted living communities, rehabilitation teams, and families navigating complex care needs. Her expertise includes specialty medical beds, mobility and positioning solutions, fall prevention strategies, pressure redistribution surfaces, wheelchair accessibility, aging-in-place support, and caregiver-centered equipment planning.
Tara is recognized for her patient-centered and solutions-driven approach, combining
practical field experience with a deep understanding of healthcare operations, care
transitions, accessibility challenges, and long-term support needs in both home and
facility environments.
Through CFS Solutions DBS, she also develops educational initiatives and consultation
services focused on empowering caregivers, improving healthcare awareness, and helping
organizations better support aging and medically complex populations.
Tara is also the Co-host of the podcast “The Medical Equipment World & Healthcare: Get
the Scoop!”, where she discusses healthcare challenges, caregiver support, medical
equipment solutions, accessibility, and industry insights with professionals and
community leaders. In addition, she contributes to healthcare-related podcast
discussions and collaborative educational initiatives focused on improving patient and
caregiver experiences.
In addition to her healthcare leadership, Tara has experience in government contracting,
community partnerships, and healthcare innovation initiatives designed to bridge gaps
between clinical care, accessibility, and everyday living.

caregiver experience, accessibility solutions, and practical healthcare support systems
